    I'll be trading in my '17 Subaru Forester xt. It's a great car, but I miss having a pickup. Had an '01 ram with the diesel until I bought the Subaru.

    I also don't like taxes. But if we have to have them, they should be fair. If we tax gasoline to fund road repair, then we should tax EV's for the same reason. However, there's probably a better way to do this.

    Private Preview for Pre-order at NY Auto Show

    I’m very interested in floor and seat materials. Do they look easy to clean? Will they attract pet hair? I love taking my dogs with me and their hair mates with the carpeting in every vehicle I’ve had. Would love to see what those materials look like.

    Official Rivian Pre-Order Thread

    I’ve placed my deposit on an R1T. It addresses the reasons I don’t have a Model X: spare tire, ground clearance, real towing, fording ability and the ability to mimic a locking differential. I really hope the interior is as durable as advertised. And I wish the spare tire could go somewhere else.
