Rivian Forums Owners Club - R1T Pickup and R1S SUV Forum

The Rivian Owners Forums are now back online! The forums were offline for awhile as can be seen by the legacy threads and member communications, but hopefully we can begin growing again and be a great outlet for all current and future Rivian owners without being force fed ads all in your face as other forums out there do.

Gooseneck trailer

Sorry, have no idea. FWIW, in case you don't have these numbers here are some of the R1T specifications that might be relevant in figuring it out. (?)
  • Payload (lbs): .... 1,764
  • Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)(lbs): ... 7,650
  • Weight Distribution: front / rear (%): ... 52% / 48%
  • Trailer Weight Rating (lbs): ... 11,023
  • Bed Length (tailgate up / down): ... 55" / 82.7"
  • Bed Width: ... 54.5"

If the gooseneck hitch is a single arm it possibly could. If the gooseneck portion of the trailers is 8 feet wide, then no way. There would be no room for the trailer to turn. It would hit the cab. Even an A frame might be too much.
