One of the more interesting things presented by Rivian is that from the start, it’s vehicles will have Level 3 driving capability. This is an impressive statement considering players who have been in this market far longer than Rivian have yet to provide this capability. All of the available info indicates this will be a home grown system rather than something which they will subcontract from Waymo, etc. Has anyone come across further information regarding this topic?

It's a lofty and ambitious goal for sure. I'm just wary of buying first generation anything.

I agree in terms of the vehicle. Granted, some of Tesla’s teething problems have contributed to my wariness. We’ll see how Rivian navigates the next 6 to 8 months. On a positive note, I appreciate their commitment to having something tangible to present as opposed to vaporware. Also, the Amazon support is comforting.

That was also my understanding from conversations from Fully Charged. Nonetheless, I’m even more excited about the products now. I hadn’t had a chance to see the truck or SUV in person until this past weekend...both very impressive. Also, the employees are a true asset. Each person I spoke to was genuine and eager to share their excitement regarding the product. They were all great ambassadors for the brand. They even managed to impress my wife and she is NOT a car person

I got the same information about Level 3 at launch at Fully Charged...or at least once they flip the switch. I slides if they bought the data but they couldn't answer me.
You're also 100% correct about the Rivian team. They are hands down some of the best people. We are very excited to see what's next!
