Upgrading from???

I am strongly considering an R1T to replace my GX470. I'm surprised there's not more activity in this thread!

My last 3 cars were a new 2001 Toyota Tacoma double cab (PreRunner), a used 2008 Porsche Targa 4S, and a new 2014 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition. So I feel like this is the next logical step LOL.

Congrats on soon replacing your GX470, though that’s quite a nice SUV as well.

Ha! Hi, I'm upgrading from a 2015 RAM 1500 Ecodiesel. REASONS: FCA cheated - just like VW and current owners have been left holding the bag. On a positive note, Rivian appears to be approaching electrification with a disciplined, common sense approach - so they have my deposit. Thanks for asking!

My R1T will replace my 2009 Mercedes E350. It currently has 194k miles so I’m hoping it lasts until the Rivian ships.

Passing my FJ Cruiser to my son this fall. Will be using my Silverado for heavy hauling and making my R1T my daily driver. I've had several trucks and SUVs over the years so I initially thought since I'm keeping my Silverado I would get the R1S. The frunk, gear tunnel and bed cover give storage practicality that swayed me to the R1T
