    I haven't seen anything concrete, but maybe it's something like the Model X? It's detachable via a keyed lock. It's not the simplest thing to take in or out, but it's not impossible.

    My advice for the latest news (including auto shows, etc) is to follow Rivian on Twitter, Instagram and/or Facebook. They use these free outlets quite a bit and traffic has increased over the last month or so.

    I think RJ has progressed in a very calculated and pinpoint way. Will Rivian survive, or even make it to full on production? Only time will tell, but he has definitely put a lot of the pieces together to not only make a successful launch, but a serious contender in the years to come.

    That sounds nice- for Apple users, but Rivian could potentially alienate a good portion of their customers by installing something that is operating system specific like that. I own an iPhone, and I like the ease of use, but I also like the Tesla Linux interface that is completely customizable...

    I don’t think anything has been announced yet, but out of curiosity, why is this a “must have”? I’ve never used CarPlay, but I know in the Model X (all Teslas for that matter), everything is customizable and based on pictures I’ve seen of the Rivian- it will be the same.

    I didn’t really care for the headlights at first, but now I’ve really grown to like them. I also really like the taillights. As you stated earlier- it’s now Rivian’s signature, so why not be different?

    Official Rivian Pre-Order Thread

    Placed a preorder for both because I couldn’t decide which one yet until I’m able to see, touch and drive. Very tempted to replace the remaining vehicles in my driveway with both if the stated numbers hold true.
